I have completed 13 lessons so far with my teacher and I really enjoy the lessons. Claire is methodical and structured. She is able to also easily explain complex concepts in English were various nuances may lead to misunderstanding on the learner's side. Especially useful to me, is the fact that she tries to combine logically associated grammar points together. This makes it easier to memorize those points. I believe this is good because it enables the student to experiment easily and create more complex and elaborate sentence structures intuitively. As someone with a linguistics background I feel that Claire is trying hard to apply modern language teaching principles that should be beneficial to any motivated student. Very happy with my lessons :)

Claire is a lovely tutor. She is patient and thorough when explaining grammar. I feel that she pushes me enough to speak and listen more comfortably, but I never feel overwhelmed in her lessons. I look forward to my classes with her every week!
