I am so happy I found Alberto as a tutor. I am a beginner and he has individually tailored each of my lessons to what I needed in different areas. I am learning Spanish for work but also for pleasure. His lessons helped me with a work trip to Mexicali to talk with my clients. I also took a trip to Panama and he tailored my lessons to be travel related and I can confidently say his tailoring and preparing me with specific phrases kept me from getting lost. My conversational Spanish is getting consistently better and every class includes laughter which is a definite plus!

Definitely choose Alberto for your Spanish tutor! I have been taking classes with Alberto for a little over two months and have been making quick progress! He takes time to explain the logic and reasoning behind grammar rules or word choices so you can start to think like a true Spanish speaker. He also focuses on building a strong foundation so you can understand complex sentences even if you don't know every single word. Highly recommended!! P.S. I did one lesson with another tutor before finding Alberto and the difference was night and day.

I have been learning Spanish with Alberto now for nearly 4 months (2x week, 50 min lessons) and have seen a tremendous improvement in my speaking and comprehension. I will be starting a new job that will require me to interact with Spanish-speakers on a daily basis and feel much more comfortable about this with Alberto's help. He is patient, supportive, a great communicator and adapts to your specific needs with ease, all things that make him a remarkable educator. I cannot recommend Alberto enough if you are interested in improving your Spanish language skills. 5 stars.

Alberto is a knowledgeable, patient, and engaging teacher. He is always mindful to teach you words and phrases that are relevant to your goals for learning the language. He also is great about keeping you focused on learning the language in the way most relevant for the student. I am interested in learning how to speak Spanish, not syntax or grammar. His approach allows me to remain focused on my goals instead of getting caught up in rules and syntax, which has always been a problem in the past when I try to learn a new language.

Alberto does a wonderful job keeping lessons laid back and fun but while also making sure your Spanish skills are improving. He has been very flexible and accommodating of my learning style and happy to work on any topic I choose. When I don't have anything specific to work on, his planned lessons have been well presented and easy to learn from. Alberto's patience (and well-spoken English) have been a big help when I am struggling to express myself or learn a topic.
